Why is it so hot? Damn, it's 8 something & it feels like 80 something degrees outside. Anyhoo, hard times persist for us working class folks. ( especially w/the gas $$ rising every damn 15 min ) Watching Colbert & just saw a badass Jetta commercial!

Why won't the media tell us what is really going on in Iraq? Yesterday, cnn reported on the news crawl that an American soldier was killed on patrol,not by a "insurgent",but by an Iraqi soldier. CNN reported that the Iraqi soldier was seriously wounded. Since I saw that report,I haven't heard or seen any mention of it since. This is disgusting,they think we're so stupid. If they want us to remember something,they just keep repeating it, but then they assume that if something slips out & they don't mention it again,we'll just think, "I must've been seeing things".

The republicans come off as being sooo ANGRY!! Listen to some talk radio tomorrow for examples. Shelby Steele is on c-span 2 talking about his new book on race. He has some common sense ideas,even though I don't agree with a lot of what he says.
